Inspirational Song of the Week

We know it has been quite a while since we posted one of these. But we want to start back up, doing them once a week again! Or at least, a lot more often than we have been, lol. XD 😉

Here’s is a song that has been an encouragement to us over the last few years. 🙂

I’ll Never Forsake You
Verse 1:
O soul, are you weary from wave upon wave
Of grief and affliction whom no man can save?
Has sickness surrounded, or unending night?
Uncertainty stolen your joy and your might?

Verse 2:
O doubting, o fearful– remember His care,
The helpless and hopeless need never despair
For from your afflictions His glory shall spring–
The deeper your sorrow, the louder you’ll sing!
Remember Your father– His promise, His love:

Chorus:
“I’ll never forsake you, this pain will not break you,
For I will remake you for unending joy;
My promise is faithful though now it is painful;
No power can trample my covenant love.”

Verse 3:
Remember your Savior– His grief and His pain,
The lonely affliction, unmerited shame.
Though you had betrayed Him, He died in your place;
The joy set before Him He offers by grace.
Remember Your father– His promise, His love

Inspirational Song of the Week

Plead for Me

VERSE 1
When I am weak I lift up my eyes
To see my Savior plead for me
When fear closes in and doubt sows a seed
I know my Savior pleads for me

CHORUS
Of Your love there is no doubt
Of Your mercies I am sure
Jesus knows my need and for me intercedes
All my hope is Christ

VERSE 2
When sins rise up I fall to my knees
To see my Savior plead for me
Storms may rage on, but this is my peace:
I know my Savior pleads for me

Inspirational Song off the Week #2

Hiya! It’s Rosy here today. 🙂 I have come to… Wait, what have I come to do? Oh yes, I have come to introduce you to another great song that is… well, great!

This week’s song sung by the Galkin Evangelic Team. It’s called Anchor of Hope. It really talks about the many attributes of God. How He is Marvelous, Wonderful, Infinite, and the Anchor of Hope for the souls of men! Here are the lyrics:

Anchor of Hope

1. Marvelous, wonderful, infinite God
Author of all that is good
Faithful provider and giver of life
Source of all power and love

Great is the Lord, and most worthy of praise
Refuge of strength to the end
Righteous redeemer and mighty to save
He’s the anchor of hope for the souls of men

2. Gracious, compassionate, merciful God
Radiant, holy delight
Beautiful Father, victorious son
Source of unchangeable light

Great is the Lord, and most worthy of praise
Refuge of strength to the end
Righteous redeemer and mighty to save
He’s the anchor of hope for the souls of men

You are light in the dark
You are healing for the broken heart
You are hope, You are Lord
You are life, You are love that endures

3. Powerful, constant, unwavering God
Shepherd who comes for the lost
Rock of salvation, remarkable love
Savior who died on the cross

Great is the Lord, and most worthy of praise
Refuge of strength to the end
Righteous redeemer and mighty to save
He’s the anchor of hope for the souls of men

Let’s Talk

Do you know this song? Which verse do you like the best? Also, do you have any song recommendations for us?

Love in Christ,

Rosy

Inspirational Song of the Week #1

Hey guys! We’re here with our first inspirational song of the week!!! This song is sooooo good. I (Rosy) only first heard it a few weeks ago, and I love it so much. It has been SUCH in encouragement to me!!! 🙂

VERSE 1
Shall I take from Your hand Your blessings
Yet not welcome any pain?
Shall I thank You for days of sunshine
Yet grumble in days of rain?
Shall I love You in times of plenty
Then leave You in days of drought?
Shall I trust when I reap a harvest
But when winter winds blow, then doubt?

CHORUS
Oh let Your will be done in me
In Your love I will abide
Oh I long for nothing else as long
As You are glorified

VERSE 2
Are You good only when I prosper
And true only when I’m filled?
Are You King only when I’m carefree
And God only when I’m well?
You are good when I’m poor and needy
You are true when I’m parched and dry
You still reign in the deepest valley
You’re still God in the darkest night

BRIDGE
So quiet my restless heart
Quiet my restless heart
Quiet my restless heart in You

Have you heard this song before? Which of the two verses is your favorite? We hope that it encourages you, as it has us! 🙂
