The Power of the Cross

Hiya! 🙃

We took this video totally on a whim yesterday morning. No, we didn’t practice, and no, Rosy had never actually played this song on the guitar before… Hence, there are a few mistakes, but it’s not too bad considering. 😉 Lol!

The Power of the Cross

Oh to see the dawn of the darkest day
Christ on a road to Calvary.
Tried by sinful men, torn and beaten then
Nailed to the cross of wood.
This the power of the cross,
Christ became sin for us, took the blame bore the wrath
we stand forgiven at the cross.
Oh to see the pain written on your face.
Bearing the awesome weight of sin.
Every bitter thought every evil did.
Crowning your bloodstain brow.
This the power of the cross,
Christ became sin for us, took the blame bore the wrath
we stand forgiven at the cross.
Now the daylight flees, now the ground beneath
quakes as its Maker bows his head
Curtain torn into, dead are raised to file.
Finished. The victory cry.
This the power of the cross,
Christ became sin for us, took the blame bore the wrath
we stand forgiven at the cross.
Oh to see my name written in the woods.
For through Your suffering I am free.
Dead are crushed to death, life is mine to live.
Won through your selfless love.
This the power of the cross
Son of God, slain for us, what a love, what a cost
We stand forgiven at the cross.

Amazing Grace – My Chains are Gone

Rosy: “Hey people! 😀 Wassup?”

Gracie: “Wassup is not a word I don’t think.”

Rosy: “Sure it is! It means “what’s up?”.”

Gracie: “Well why didn’t you just say What’s Up?”

Rosy: “Wassup is funner.” 😉

Gracie: “Whatever. Anyway, hello everyone!”

Rosy: “So, guess what guys!”

Gracie: Rosy, don’t make them guess! It’s already pretty obvious. This is a singing blog, so what else are we going to post but a song?”

Rosy: “Well, there’s a lot of things we could post. But yes. We have a new song video for ya!”

Gracie: ” “Ya” isn’t a word.”

Rosy: “Okay, but that’s not the point.” XD We’d better hurry up and post this before the electricity goes out. Again…

Gracie: “Good idea. I’d hate for all this to get deleted. Actually, that might be a good thing…”

Rosy: “ANYWAY! We recently were able to put together a new song video! Actually, we shot the scenes last week, but then we had a bit of a cold and couldn’t make the recording until like, yesterday.”

Gracie: “Yeah, that was annoying. But we got it done! Rosy, tell them what we saw while we were out shooting scenes for the video!”

Rosy: “Oh yeah, that was so cool! While we were in between scenes, this BIG jackrabbit came hopping right towards us, like it didn’t even see us. I managed to get a video, and I included it in the video, so y’all can see it too.” 😉

Gracie: “Anyway, let’s put in the video now.”

Rosy: “Okey dokey!”

Gracie: “I’m not sure that’s a real word…”

Rosy: “YES, IT IS.” (I think?) Anyway, here is the song, Amazing Grace – My Chains are Gone. Let’s always remember to praise the Lord for the wonderful, undeserved grace he gives to us every day.” 🙂

Gracie: “Is that a word????”
